What it's for

Obsidian dung is a by-product of enclosures on the obsidian farm.

Obsidian manure is a by-product you get on top of what your pens produce on the Obsidian farm, specifically from the ostrich pen, the lizard pen and the orca pool. It is not a resource you would grow on its own, it is a reward for feeding your animals. It is then used in the winter garden to make obsidian corn, cabbage, wheat and wildflower seeds.

How to get it

You cannot buy manure, it appears automatically alongside the pen's main product whenever you put the matching feed in. Ten units of ostrich feed give you 51 manure in 3 hours 20 minutes, ten units of lizard feed only 8 in 36 minutes, and ten units of orca feed 40 in 2 hours 40 minutes. The ostrich pen gives the best amount-to-time ratio, so that is where to go if you need manure fast and in bulk.

What to do with it

You use manure in the winter garden to make obsidian corn, cabbage, wheat and wildflower seeds, including the upgraded XL and XXL versions of each crop.

Tip from a veteran player When I am running low on manure for seeds in the winter garden, I mainly keep the ostrich pen going, it puts out the most per cycle.

Most common mistake Players overlook that the lizard pen only gives 8 manure per batch and plan with the same numbers as for ostriches, and then their seed production comes up short.
