What it's for

These very powerful seeds are made on the obsidian farm and can be used on fields on your main farm

Obsidian corn seed XL is the middle, stronger tier of obsidian seed for corn, one step above the basic version and below the XXL. Like the other obsidian seeds it's made exclusively in the Winter garden on the obsidian farm and you put it to use on the fields of the main farm. You won't buy it in the shop, it's purely a crafted product for players who already have Obsidian manure production running.

How to get it

The recipe in the Winter garden uses 15 units of a good from the obsidian farm, 3 Special corn seeds and 168 Obsidian manure for 1 unit over 2 hours of production, which is exactly double the manure of the basic seed. Here too the recipe doesn't change with building level 1 to 6, so a higher-level Winter garden won't make production any cheaper on its own.

What to do with it

The use is the same as with the basic seed, planting it in any corn field on the main farm, from the Field to the Spectacular field and every type in between. The recipe offers no other use such as selling, missions or the co-op.

Tip from a veteran player Before you jump into the XL version, check whether ordinary corn from the basic seed isn't enough for what you're after, double the manure only pays off once you have manure to spare.

Most common mistake An early mistake is jumping straight to the XL seed without a steady supply of Obsidian manure, your stock then runs out faster than you expect.
