What it's for

These very powerful seeds are made on the obsidian farm and can be used on fields on your main farm

Obsidian wheat seed XL is a very strong seed made in the Winter garden on the Obsidian farm and then hauled back to the main farm for sowing. I use it on both plain and upgraded fields on the main farm, where it grows into wheat. It is one of the products of the obsidian production line, which adds a stronger seed option to ordinary farming. You cannot buy it in the shop, it only exists as something you make yourself.

How to get it

The only way to get it leads through the Winter garden, where one unit takes 2 Special wheat seeds and 124 Obsidian manure plus one more resource, production takes 2 hours and the recipe is the same at every level of the building. Since it is not sold in the shop, I have to have both key resources ready in advance or production will not run. It is worth making whenever I have built up enough Obsidian manure, the game offers no other way to get hold of it.

What to do with it

I sow the seed on fields and on their upgraded versions on the main farm, and it grows into wheat everywhere. The recipe lists no other use, so I only make as much as I am actually going to plant.

Tip from a veteran player Before you start producing, count how much Obsidian manure you have in stock, because 124 per seed adds up fast once you plan several batches.

Most common mistake The most common slip is having more seed made than you have free fields to sow, so your Obsidian manure ends up sitting unused in storage.
