The cooperative tree
The cooperative tree is a cooperative building that grows along with its level and that all the members water together. Every player can water it once a day, either at home or after visiting the farm of a fellow member who hasn't watered it yet today. The more members of the cooperative join in on the watering, the bigger the reward after the harvest. On top of that, the cooperative earns decorative versions of the tree as trophies for placing in the cooperative competition.
Watering takes a few seconds a day and the reward grows with the activity of the whole cooperative, so it's worth pitching in regularly at your teammates' trees too, not just your own. In a quiet cooperative where only a handful of people water, though, it loses some of its point, because there simply aren't enough waterers to reach the higher rewards.
The cooperative tree grows with the cooperative's level and the members water it together
The cooperative tree is a building every cooperative has one of, and it develops as the cooperative climbs in level. It isn't a tree you grow on your own farm, it belongs to the whole cooperative and every member contributes to its growth by watering it.
The more people from the cooperative water the tree in a given round, the bigger the reward after the harvest. That's why it pays off not only to water it at home, but also to drop by your teammates' farms and water it there if they haven't done it yet.
Watering is only possible after a harvest and at most once a day
The watering button only becomes active after the tree has been harvested, and the game says as much with a message that watering is possible only after the harvest. If you've already watered today, the system reminds you with a note that watering has already happened today, and watering stays unavailable until the countdown to the next one runs out.
In the watering overview you can see who in the cooperative has already watered the tree today, how many waterings have been collected so far and how long until you can water again. Once the tree is ready, you click it and collect the reward straight away.
Watering for Gold saves you a trip around your teammates' farms
The standard way is to pick a fellow member and visit their farm to water the tree there. But the game also offers a faster route - for a small payment in Gold you water the trees of all the cooperative members at once, without having to go through farm after farm.
I use this shortcut mainly on days when I don't have time to click my way through the cooperative by hand. Watering everything in one go takes a few seconds and the cooperative doesn't lose points toward the reward just because nobody felt like making the rounds.
The bronze, silver and royal trees are trophies from the cooperative competition
Besides the regular tree the cooperative waters every day, there are also decorative versions of the tree handed out as trophies from the cooperative competition. The game describes them as a proud reminder of the diligence and dedication the cooperative showed in that league.
- Tall cooperative tree – the trophy for the bronze league of the cooperative competition
- Grand cooperative tree – the trophy for the silver league of the cooperative competition
- Royal cooperative tree – the trophy for the top league of the cooperative competition
The cooperative doesn't water these trees, then, it earns them as a badge for where it placed in the competition. The higher the cooperative finishes in the league, the more prestigious the tree it keeps as a memento.
