A subscription in Goodgame Big Farm is a monthly package of bonuses and handy features, and unlike the usual packages you buy with gold, it keeps running for good until you cancel it. The game offers four separate packages, two aimed purely at your own account and two tied to your cooperative or to how long you have been subscribed. You can combine them however you like, and the longer you keep them active or the more people have them, the more you pull out of them.
The quality of life package makes sense for anyone who plays regularly and is sick of the extra clicks, but the cooperative package only pays off in an active co-op where several people are subscribed at the same time - on your own its benefit is noticeably weaker.
A subscription unlocks permanent bonuses in exchange for a monthly payment
Subscriptions come in two basic types. The first is the quality of life subscription, which unlocks bonuses and features on your account only. The second is the cooperative subscription, which works for you and for every member of your cooperative at the same time - and its strength grows with the number of subscribers in the co-op.
An active subscription runs with no limit until the moment you cancel it, because it renews automatically every month. You can even have all the packages at once; they run alongside each other and never rule each other out.
The quality of life package saves you clicks on the farm
The quality of life package removes the gold cost of a whole range of convenience features, mainly the ones that save time while running the farm. In practice that means:
- Turbo harvester - harvests all finished production with a single click for free.
- Repeat harvest - repeats simple farm production several times with one click.
- Turbo chaff cutter - restarts every inactive production using the last production that was running, at no extra cost.
- Upgraded logbook - four more slots for deep sea fishing equipment sets.
- Convenient seedlings - the Harvest all, Uncover all and Remove all functions in the nursery at no charge.
Above it sits the Quality of Life Plus package, which adds full access to the batch production manager - starting the same production in every building of a given type at once - and one extra building slot for construction and upgrades on the main farm. This package makes sense once you have several factories of the same type running and you build on the main farm often - otherwise you will not even keep that second building slot busy.
The cooperative package grows stronger with every subscriber in the co-op
This is the only package where it is not just about you but about the whole cooperative. Every member of the co-op benefits from your subscription whether or not they have one of their own, and you draw on everyone else's subscriptions in exactly the same way. The more subscribers in the cooperative, the bigger and stronger the bonuses - once a certain number of subscribers is reached, a bonus gets stronger or further bonuses unlock.
The bonuses the cooperative package unlocks include:
- shorter build times and lower material costs for the cooperative village buildings,
- higher output in the mineral and metal factory and in the wood and textile factory,
- more dollars from market contracts and from fish market contracts, for fewer goods,
- more time to finish cooperative projects,
- lower costs for hiring a specialist and more resources from specialists,
- more experience for standard farm production,
- less damage to your fields and more hedgerow plants,
- a discount on horseshoes when training horses and fewer building tokens to unlock a temporary building slot.
You can activate it even without being in a cooperative, but then only the bonuses for a single subscriber apply. As soon as you join a co-op, your subscription joins up with the others and more unlocks.
The loyalty package rewards long-term subscribers
The loyalty package is the only one where the bonuses get stronger the longer you keep it active without a break. The classic example is the bonus gold you get on top when you buy packages that contain nothing but gold - the more months the loyalty subscription has been running, the bigger the bonus.
The other loyalty bonuses are tied to your level or simply to having the subscription switched on:
- access to high level contracts in the market hall,
- farm production boost levels for event seeds and access to rainbow roses,
- fewer spins needed to reach the jackpot round,
- extra equipment slots in the saddlery - from player level 60,
- the option to repair the joker token with dollars - from player level 150.
There is a catch, though - if nothing happens within seven days of the subscription running out, the loyalty bonus resets. Anyone who wants to hold on to this package long term for the growing bonus cannot afford even a short gap without renewing.
You buy and cancel through the payment page, not inside the game
A purchase starts by clicking the Buy button on the subscription page, which opens the payment page with the details and the payment methods. Once you enter your payment details and confirm, the system processes the order and the subscription is activated on your account.
Cancelling works through the cancellation link that is part of the email payment confirmation sent every month. After you cancel, no further payment is taken, but the active bonuses stay with you until the day the next automatic renewal would have happened - only then do they disappear. If you have more than one subscription, each one has to be cancelled separately.
