What it's for

These powerful seeds are made on the obsidian farm and can be used on fields on your main farm

Obsidian wheat seed is the obsidian counterpart to the classic wheat seed, it's made in the Winter garden and used to plant wheat on the fields of your Main farm. You won't find it in the shop, the only way to get it is to craft it. The basic tier isn't alone in the line either, above it sit the XL and XXL versions, which eat double and triple the special seeds and manure.

How to get it

The recipe for 1 unit calls for 12 units of the Obsidian farm resource, 1 Special wheat seed and 62 Obsidian manure, and production takes 2 hours. In terms of manure cost it sits between corn and cabbage, roughly five times pricier than cabbage but still cheaper than corn. The recipe is identical at all six levels of the Winter garden.

What to do with it

You use the seed on your Main farm in any wheat field, from the Field through the Fertile field, Wintry fertile field, Rural fertile field and Autumnal fertile field up to the Glorious field, Deluxe field or Spectacular field. Neither the recipe nor its use lists any other purpose such as selling, processing, missions or the cooperative.

Tip from a veteran player When you're splitting your Winter garden queue between corn, cabbage and wheat, keep in mind that wheat costs considerably more manure than cabbage but still less than corn, so it works as the middle option when your manure supply is tight.

Most common mistake It's a mistake to slot the wheat recipe into the queue automatically alongside the others without checking how much wheat you actually plant on your Main farm, otherwise your manure quietly disappears into seed that then sits around unused.
