Decoration Valley and the Fun Park
Decoration Valley is a special farm that comes to life the moment the time-limited Great Fun Park Challenge starts. Instead of the usual crops I build fun park stalls here, stock them with farm products and try to draw as many happy visitors into the park as I can. The goal is to squeeze as many park pennies as possible out of the limited event time, because they count towards both the hard worker reward and the event leaderboard. Access to Decoration Valley costs 100 000 Dollars and 10 000 Gold.
The Fun Park is an event decided mainly by a well thought-out layout of stalls and decorations for the sake of the bonus tips, not by how fast you click – anyone who plans the layout in advance pulls far more pennies out of the park in the same amount of time. The 10 000 Gold entry fee pays off mostly for players who run the event regularly and get proper use out of the stalls and the decorations.
I unlock access to Decoration Valley as soon as the Great Fun Park Challenge begins
Decoration Valley is a separate farm that only becomes available once the time-limited Great Fun Park Challenge comes around. I do not grow ordinary crops here, I build fun park stalls and decorations instead, and with them I attract visitors and earn park pennies.
Access to the valley costs 100 000 Dollars and 10 000 Gold. Once it is paid for, five special buildings appear in the valley – the stalls that the whole event is built around.
When the event ends, the stalls are packed away and I can lay Decoration Valley out however I like again until the next round of the event starts.
The park offers five stalls, each with a different size and base income
There are five stalls on offer and each one has a different size and a different base income of park pennies per visitor per second. When I plan the layout I therefore have to work out how much room each stall takes up in the valley alongside the decorations.
| Stall | Size |
| Henry the Rooster's Herbs | 3×3 |
| Conny the Cow's Café | 4×4 |
| Al Paca's Antiques | 5×3 |
| Dick the Duck's Delicacies | 5×4 |
| Shaila the Sheep's Stall | 5×5 |
I can prepare up to three stalls at a time – the preparation slots can be expanded or packed away again as needed, so I plan ahead how many different types of stalls I want in the park at once.
I have to stock a stall with farm products first, only then can I build it
A stall cannot simply be put down – first I have to stock it with farm products. I choose myself which products I donate to the stall and how many, and on top of that I get Dollars for every product donated.
Every stall has a requirement for the minimum amount of donated products. Until I meet it, the stall preparation cannot be cancelled. Once the requirement is met I can stop stocking whenever I like and place the stall straight away, even if it could take more.
The maximum lifetime of a stall is 6 hours and it depends on the amount of donated products – the more I donate, the longer the stall lasts in the park and the more visitors it manages to serve. Once the stall is placed in the park no further products can be added to it, so the size of the donation has to be sorted out before building it.
Decorations and happiness in the valley decide how many visitors the park attracts
How many visitors come to the park is driven by the farm and village happiness in Decoration Valley – the more decorations I have here, the higher the happiness and the more visitors the park attracts. Stalls earn their pennies precisely according to the number of visitors attracted, so more visitors means a higher income per second.
On top of the base income I can complete up to three bonus tips. The conditions differ from stall to stall – sometimes it is about placing decorations of a certain size and happiness, other times about decorations of a specific level or about how many of them there are. What is interesting is that the stall itself can count as a certain number of decorations of a given level for these purposes, so there is plenty of room to play around with the layout.
According to the official example in the game's help, a combination of 15 decorations with a total happiness of 500 units and 5 stalls of the 3×3 size earns up to 50 000 000 park pennies per hour – which shows how much it pays off to invest time in a clever layout rather than just in the number of buildings.
Gold extends stall lifetimes and tips, while rewards come from hard work and placement
A stall's lifetime can be extended for Gold without me having to round up more products. The price of the extension is tied to time and it goes up with every further extension, so an extension paid for once is not a one-off purchase for good. Bonus tips can be unlocked or extended for gold in the same way, and if I already have a tip running that I paid gold for and I want to extend the stall's lifetime, I have to pay for extending that tip as well.
I collect rewards as I go in two ways. The hard worker reward builds up according to how many park pennies per visitor per second I produce over time, while the placement reward depends on my position in the event leaderboard. On top of that, during the event I earn Fun Park Tickets, which I spend at the merchant right inside the Fun Park.
