The market hall and selling products
The market hall in Goodgame Big Farm is run by Eva Apple and it's the main place where I take my crops and other goods to sell. Customers ask for specific goods through contracts and pay for the delivery, so this is where the vast majority of my dollars comes from. Demand adjusts to which farms I have unlocked and what I actually produce on them, so there's practically always a way to fill a contract.
I deal with the market hall pretty much every day, because there's no more reliable source of dollars on the farm – contracts are set up so that you can fill them with what you already produce, so I never end up with goods I have nowhere to sell.
The market hall runs on simple supply and demand

The idea behind the market hall is simple – local customers and bigger buyers want specific goods and pay for the delivery. The more contracts I fill, the more money I earn and the more the market hall grows.
Demand in the contracts follows which farms I have unlocked, so there's basically always a way to get hold of the product a customer wants. On top of that, customers watch what I really grow and raise on my farms and adjust their orders accordingly – so the market hall reacts to my own production.
A contract can ask for up to six different products
Normally I have six open contracts available at once. Each of them can ask for one to six kinds of product and a different amount of each – the more active a farmer I am, the bigger the amounts customers want from me. The contract overview shows me exactly what I still have to produce and what I already have ready to ship.
I add products to a contract bit by bit as I produce them, or all at once if I feel like it. As soon as a contract is complete, a green check mark appears and I finish it by clicking the truck. The truck can also send off the products from every contract in progress at once, so there's no need to click delivery separately on each one.
A contract's value grows when I deliver the same product repeatedly
When I fill the same order (with the same requested products) several times in a row, its value goes up. A higher value means a bigger bonus on the reward, so a repeat completion pays me more than the first one did.
The reward doesn't have to come in dollars either – payment is made in various in-game currencies depending on the contract, so it can be dollars, experience points, horseshoes or other currencies. The money only arrives once the truck has actually delivered the goods, though, not before.
Contracts come in different types depending on how long they last
In the market hall I've come across several types of contract:
- Daily contract – renews every day.
- Standard contract – the regular offer with no tie to a subscription.
- Limited contract – available only for a limited time.
- Subscription contract and Limited subscription contract – tied to a subscription offer.
On top of that, bigger outside customers join the market hall from time to time with contracts that bring the highest profit of all. Their demand also follows what I produce on my farms.
Rejecting a contract means losing the products already put into it
I can reject a contract that doesn't suit me, but if I've already put some products into it, that step loses them – which is why the game always asks whether I really want to do it. After rejecting it I have to wait for a new customer with a new offer, although the wait can be skipped for gold.
If a contract simply expires, all is not lost – for gold I can have another farmer supply the missing products, and the contract reward still goes to me.
Customers and a travelling trader sometimes stop by the market hall in person
Every now and then customers come to the market hall in person and wait for me to see to their needs – the faster I serve them, the more dollars they pay me and the happier they are. A quick turnaround also brings an extra bonus on the reward.
Just as irregularly, a trader turns up at the market hall with a special offer – the stock usually includes corn, wheel of fortune tokens and valuable seaweed fertilizer. It's always worth a look at what he has, because the selection is different every time.
