Seaweed feed XL is the more effective successor to L at the cost of higher goods consumption. It makes sense once you have catalyst and super cow feed production running at a larger scale.

Seaweed feed XL is a step up from L as a livestock booster - both the yield and the cut in production time are considerably stronger. It's made in the Farm laboratory just like the smaller version, but the recipe is costlier, 24 Valuable catalysts and 25 Super cow feed per batch. It only unlocks at laboratory level 40. It's used in the same livestock buildings as the whole seaweed line - chicken coop, pigsty, cowshed, goat stable, duck coop and donkey stable on the main farm as well as the Gourmet farm and Flower farm.

How to get it

This version isn't sold in the shop, it's purely a Farm laboratory product from level 40. A batch of 10 (2 minutes and 40 seconds) eats up 24 Valuable catalysts and 25 Super cow feed, noticeably more than L, so it pays to have both intermediates stocked up beforehand.

What to do with it

It goes into the same livestock buildings as the weaker feed - chicken coop and Irish chicken coop for eggs and feathers, pigsty for pigs and truffles, cowshed and Tropical cowshed for milk and cream, goat stable for milk, duck coop and donkey stable for eggs and donkeys respectively. Manure drops as a by-product almost everywhere.
