What it's for

The tropical pigsty can hold more pigs and gives your farm a touch of the South Pacific. If you demolish this building, you won't be able to build it again.

The tropical pigsty produces manure, pigs and truffles exactly like a normal pigsty, but its smaller 7x6 footprint fits far better on a crowded farm. It stands on the Main farm and unlocks as early as player level 2, so you'll run into it pretty soon. Just like the tropical cowshed it has one crucial quirk, once you demolish it you can't build it again.

When to build it

Go ahead and build it right at level 2 if you're trying to save space, because at that point you still don't have many buildings on the farm and the layout is easier to plan. One is enough, and you can cover any extra meat production with other buildings as you need it.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading is well worth it, because pig output from pig feed jumps from 195 at level one to 352 at level ten, with the final level paid for in Diamonds and unlocked only at player level 119.

Tip from a veteran player Put it somewhere that fits your long term building layout, because moving it later during a rebuild can't be solved by demolishing it and putting up a new one.

Most common mistake Early in the game players slap it down on a temporary spot without thinking, and later want to demolish it when they rearrange the farm, which is an irreversible mistake.
