What it's for

A precious recipe catalyst used for special recipes in the farm laboratory. Can be won as a reward.

The valuable catalyst sits in the catalyst chain between the unique and the rare one - it's produced from the unique catalyst and goes on to become the rare one. Like the other catalysts, it's produced and consumed in the farm laboratory on the Main, Gourmet and Flower farms. It isn't available in the shop, so the only way to it is production or a reward. Besides the next catalyst, the laboratory also turns it into a whole range of seaweed products.

How to get it

The recipe is again the same at all laboratory levels - 20 unique catalysts yield 18 valuable catalysts in 5 minutes. Since it can't be bought, it pays to keep unique catalysts stocked up continuously so production doesn't stall.

What to do with it

The valuable catalyst goes on to the rare catalyst and to seaweed products - seaweed feed and its L and XL variants, seaweed fertilizer and seaweed liquid fertilizer.

Tip from a veteran player If you want to produce seaweed feeds and fertilizers, plan valuable catalyst production ahead - it's the only input that unlocks this whole group of products for you.

Most common mistake It's a mistake to produce the valuable catalyst in bursts, only once you've run out - the laboratory then stands idle, because the 5-minute production of 18 units can't keep up with higher demand.
