The Viking donkey stable is an enlarged Viking version of the donkey stable on the Gourmet farm, it holds more donkeys and gives the farm a Viking look. It produces donkeys as its main output and manure for the silo as a by-product, and you mix its feed at the mill from barley or use special feeds. At 8x7 tiles it's one of the bigger animal buildings, so you'll need to find room for it. It suits players who want donkeys in bigger numbers on the Gourmet farm without putting up more ordinary stables.

When to build it

You build it with dollars from player level 29, the first level costs 150,000 dollars and takes three hours and twenty minutes to build. It makes sense to put it up right away as soon as you unlock it, because it offers more jobs and higher production than an ordinary donkey stable at the same level. One is enough until you have enough feed and workers to keep it running at full capacity.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading pays off mainly because of the manure – at level 1, 10 lots of donkey feed give you 117 donkeys and 153 manure, while at the maximum level 10 the same amount of feed pulls in 196 donkeys and a full 440 manure in the same 3 hours 30 minutes. Prices run from 150,000 dollars at level 1 up to 13 million at level 9, but level 10 already costs 15,000 diamonds and takes over five and a half days to build, so it's more of a bonus on top than a must for normal progress. Upgrade up to level 9 as your player level grows, and leave level 10 until you have diamonds to spare.

Tip from a veteran player The manure from this stable grows faster at higher levels than the number of donkeys does, so if you're short on manure in the silo for your other animals, it pays to upgrade this stable ahead of the other animal buildings on the farm.

Most common mistake An early mistake is leaving the stable at a low level because it cost more to build than an ordinary donkey stable, while overlooking that at higher levels it gives you noticeably more manure and more donkeys from the same feed.
