What it's for

You can collect plant debris from orchards and sheep pastures. This is made into algae in the algae tank, which can then be used on cultivation areas.

You produce plant remains in the Tree grove, the Berry orchard and the Sheep pasture on the Viking farm, the Northern lights farm and the Festive farm, available from level 30. They have no market price and can't be bought, so the only way to get them is through the fertilizer you put into these buildings. You then process them further in the Kelp tank.

How to get it

Every round requires fertilizer - the Tree grove uses 10, the Berry orchard 20 and the Sheep pasture 40, and you can reach for Winter fertilizer, Premium winter fertilizer or event Seaweed fertilizer. The highest one-time yield comes from the Sheep pasture (up to 240 at the fourth building level), but the fastest supply is offered by the Tree grove with its hourly cycle.

What to do with it

The Kelp tank turns plant remains into kelp - which you use for soil cultivation on the farm.

Tip from a veteran player Before you start the grove, orchard or pasture, check your fertilizer stock - without it you can't start a single round and no plant remains will come in.

Most common mistake A common mistake is leaving plant remains lying in the storage unused - if you don't build the Kelp tank or don't use it, they just take up space for nothing.
