Sheep pasture – Goodgame Big FarmSheep pasture – Level 1

Sheep pasture

Orchards Festive farm

A solid companion to the fir grove, but it demands more fertilizer and more workers, so it is worth building only once your fertilizer production is up and running.

What it's for

Use winter fertilizer to start production in the sheep pasture and collect plant debris as a by-product.

Produces

The sheep pasture is the second orchard on the Festive farm and it turns winter fertilizer into dyed wool, with plant remains coming along as a by-product. Compared with the fir grove it works with bigger batches of fertilizer and a longer production time, so it is more of a building for players who already have winter fertilizer production running at volume. The dyed wool goes on into processing, so the pasture forms the second pillar of raw materials for the more advanced products on this seasonal farm. It suits anyone who wants a complete cycle on the Festive farm instead of relying on a single orchard.

When to build it

Build it once you have a free 8x8 space on the Festive farm and enough workers, because even the first level wants 8 people and the demand climbs quickly to 17 as you upgrade. Since it eats fertilizer forty units at a time per batch, it makes sense to build it after the fir grove, once your winter fertilizer stock is steadier. One is usually enough, as the pasture takes up as much room as the grove but produces for longer.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading follows the same logic as with the fir grove – consumption (40 units of fertilizer) and production time (4 hours) do not change with the level, but the output of both dyed wool and plant remains doubles from level 1 to level 4. The upgrade price climbs more steeply than with the grove, though, from 350 thousand at level 2 up to 8 million at level four, so it pays to upgrade gradually according to how much fertilizer you can actually keep producing.

Tip from a veteran player Before you pour fertilizer into the pasture, work out how much of it you have available in the silo – one batch eats forty units, so a smaller stock will only last you a couple of production rounds.
Most common mistake Players often upgrade the pasture to the maximum right at the start even though they do not have enough workers on the Festive farm, and then the building just soaks up manpower they would need elsewhere.
