What it's for

This meadow comes with a significantly production output than the regular meadow.

Produces

Spectacular meadow is another in the line of special meadows on the Flower farm – the description in the game puts it a notch above Glorious meadow, since it talks about a “significantly higher” yield compared to an ordinary meadow. Mechanically it is the same kind of 13x10 cultivated area where you grow aloe vera, vanilla, jasmine and lavender, so here too you are really building a smaller raw material base for the follow-up processing on the Flower farm. Like the other meadows of this type it cannot be bought in the shop, so you have to come by it another way, and it only gets going from player level 38. It suits mainly players who want more than one meadow on the farm at a time and so spread the risk of running short of a particular good.

When to build it

I would plan the build at the point where production on the Flower farm is already established and you are short of capacity – that is, when one meadow cannot keep up with the demand for aloe vera, vanilla, jasmine or lavender for your recipes. Given the large 13x10 footprint it is not worth having more of them on the farm than you will actually use, so on most accounts I would stop at one or two meadows of this type including Spectacular meadow.

Is it worth upgrading

Here too it holds that upgrading raises the yield of a batch, not just the cosmetics – aloe vera goes from 120 to 210 units, vanilla from 110 to 200, jasmine from 60 to 110 and lavender from 30 to 65 units, while the price of the goods and the production time stay the same at every level. In practice that means every upgraded level gives you almost double the goods for the same money and time, so upgrading always pays off as soon as your player level reaches it and you have money free. The highest, ninth level is locked behind player level 149 though, so realistically you will only run into it in the late game.

Tip from a veteran player Before you start upgrading the meadow, check the consumption in your processing buildings – if you only use up lavender, say, and sell the rest, it pays to track mainly that good and plan the upgrades around it, not around whatever “looks best” in the table.

Most common mistake People often mistake Spectacular, Glorious and Deluxe meadow for three different performance tiers of one building and expect the grander name to automatically mean better numbers – according to the game all three have identical costs, construction time and production at the same level, they differ only in the description.
