What it's for

Aloe vera grows in the meadow.

Aloe vera is a basic crop you grow on the Flower farm in the Meadow, the Friendship meadow and the Fertile meadow, and equally in the Glorious, Deluxe and Spectacular meadow. You can also buy it straight from the shop at a base price of 850 Dollars. It serves as the input for Aloe vera gel in the Distillery and for producing Special aloe vera seeds in the Farm laboratory or the Nursery.

How to get it

In the meadow you have two recipes to choose from - the classic one for 3000 Dollars gives 150 units in 6 hours at level four, while the Special aloe vera seed recipe at the same level gives only 20 units, but in a mere 30 minutes. The seed recipe comes in handy when you need to top up a smaller amount quickly, while the long Dollar recipe is for building a bigger stock overnight. Buying in the shop makes sense when you're only a few units short for a recipe and don't want to wait for either harvest option.

What to do with it

You send Aloe vera mainly to the Distillery for Aloe vera gel, or to the Farm laboratory or the Nursery for Special aloe vera seeds, which then speed up your future growing.

Tip from a veteran player Build up a stock of Special aloe vera seeds in advance so you always have the quick 30-minute recipe on hand whenever you need aloe vera in a hurry.
Most common mistake A common one is launching the long six-hour Dollar recipe even when a smaller batch made quickly from special seeds would do the job.
