What it's for

This very powerful fertilizer can be used on orchards to increase the output and skip the production time.

Seaweed fertilizer XL is the second, very effective tier of orchard fertilizer, one step stronger than the L variant and one step weaker than XXL. Like the whole range it is made in the Farm laboratory and used in orchards on the Main farm, Gourmet farm and Flower farm. It raises the yield and shortens production time in the orchard. It is not available in the shop.

How to get it

The recipe is the same as for the lower tier - 52 Valuable catalyst and 10 Super fertilizer for 10 fertilizer in 8 minutes and 40 seconds - but you can only start it from laboratory level 46. Make it once your laboratory reaches that level and you have the inputs ready from catalyst and super fertilizer production.

What to do with it

You use it in the same orchards as the lower tier - the Apple orchard and Cherry orchard and their cooperative counterparts, the Almond orchard and Peach orchard and their festive variants - when producing leaves, apples, windfall apples, cherries, silk, almonds and peaches.

Tip from a veteran player The higher fertilizer tier makes the most sense on an orchard with a longer production time, so the time skip pays off as much as possible.

Most common mistake It is pointless to use XL fertilizer where the cheaper L tier would do - the input resources are the same, so you just needlessly drain your stock of catalyst and super fertilizer.
