What it's for

Fertilizer will help you grow peaches in this orchard, plus you will receive fallen leaves for the composter as well. Fertilizer is made in the silo using dung.

The peach orchard works exactly like the almond one - it grows peaches from fertilizer made out of manure in the silo and drops leaves into the composter on top of that. It is a bit more expensive and unlocks later (player level 29), so it is the logical second orchard to build on the Gourmet farm once you have expanded your fertilizer production. It takes the same 7x7 and you will find it straight in the shop. It suits players who want to process more fertilizer at once, because one batch uses 30 fertilizer instead of the 10 the almond orchard needs.

When to build it

It is worth building from level 29, as soon as you have enough fertilizer to sustain the higher consumption (30 per batch). If you are only just getting the gourmet farm going, give priority to the almond orchard with its lower consumption and add the peach one once you have fertilizer to spare. More than one only makes sense when your fertilizer production can keep both buildings supplied at the same time.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading pays off step by step as your fertilizer production grows - at max level the same batch of 30 seaweed fertilizer gives you 663 peaches and 32 leaves instead of 312 peaches and 14 leaves at level 1. The price climbs from 120 000 dollars all the way to 21 million and the last two levels again wait for player levels 90 and 145, so you would not get to them any sooner anyway.

Tip from a veteran player Just like with the almond orchard, it pays to rely mainly on seaweed fertilizer - it finishes instantly and gives an experience bonus, while regular fertilizer takes 14 hours with no bonus at all.

Most common mistake Players often build the peach orchard right next to the almond one without having enough fertilizer to feed both - the result is two buildings fighting over fertilizer and standing half idle.
