The Beach peach orchard is another orchard on the Gourmet farm, this time focused on peaches, measuring 6x6. Just like the other orchards, it runs on fertilizer from the silo and gives you leaves for the composter alongside the main crop. It costs 50,000 gold, not dollars, so it's more of a supplementary investment than a regular building from the farm's economy. It pays off for players who want a second source of fruit and compost leaves on the Gourmet farm alongside almonds.

When to build it

It unlocks from player level 24 and needs 7 workers right at level one, which is more than other orchards at the start. Build it once you have a reliable supply of fertilizer and know you'll actually use the peaches - because of the gold price, it's not worth building just to try it out.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading pays off in the long run, because the yield grows faster than the fertilizer consumption. From 30 units of seaweed fertilizer you get 312 peaches at level one, and 663 peaches at level nine for the same instant time. With super fertilizer, the yield goes from 288 to 612 units for the same 14 hours. The price of the last levels rises sharply, though, and the ninth level only unlocks at player level 140, so you'll only max it out in the late game.

Tip from a veteran player Speed fertilizer is processed in just under an hour and a half, so it's ideal when you need to top up a few peaches quickly, even though the volume is small compared to the other fertilizers.

Most common mistake Players often underestimate the growth in required workers, from 7 at level one to 17 at level nine, and then their orchard sits unstaffed even though they have the dollars for the upgrade.
