What it's for
You can use these special seeds in the greenhouse to breed Nordic fruits, which you can load onto Captain Barnacle's ship when he docks in the harbor and asks for them.
Premium blackberry seeds belong to the same Nordic fruit trio as rose hips and cloudberries, and like them they're planted in the Greenhouse on the Main farm, Gourmet farm or Flower farm. They unlock at level 30 and at a value of 6250 Gold they sit in the middle between the cheaper rose hips and the priciest cloudberries. This isn't an item for everyday production or selling, but an input for the Greenhouse that yields blackberries. Those you then load for the captain in the Harbor, or send on into production.
How to get it
Blackberry seeds aren't sold in the Shop and you won't find a recipe for them in the game, so you can't craft them from other goods. You get them as a reward from events and quests via temporary storage, where they're ready to use straight away. Since they're a pricier piece than rose hips, it pays to wait for the right moment rather than blow them at the first opportunity.
What to do with it
The seed grows into blackberries in the Greenhouse, which you hand over to Captain Barnacle as soon as his ship docks in the Harbor and he asks for blackberries. If he isn't after them right now, they won't go to waste - in the Farm laboratory you turn them into Special blackberry seeds, in the Jam factory into Blackberry jam, and they sell for 7200 dollars.
