What it's for

You can use these seeds in the greenhouse to breed Nordic fruits, which you can load onto Captain Barnacle's ship when he docks in the harbor and asks for them.

Blackberry seeds are another of the four Nordic seeds for the Greenhouse, available from level 30 on the Main, Gourmet and Flower farms. You grow Blackberries from them, which like the other Nordic fruit go to Captain Barnacle's ship in the harbor. With a base price of 275 Gold they are roughly five times more expensive than gooseberry seeds, so they belong to the pricier resources of this type. They aren't processed any further themselves, you craft the special seed variant in the Farm laboratory only from finished blackberries.

How to get it

They can't be bought in the shop and I have no production recipe for them in the game, so you can only rely on what you have already accumulated. The price of 275 Gold is their base value, not a purchase amount.

What to do with it

The main route is to plant them in the Greenhouse, get Blackberries and load those onto Captain Barnacle's ship once it docks in the harbor and asks for them. Blackberries can't be sold, so don't look for another quick use for them.

Tip from a veteran player Because of the higher price, save these seeds for moments when you know you'll actually use the blackberries, not for random experiments with the greenhouse.

Most common mistake The mistake is to plant the expensive blackberry seeds as carelessly as the cheap gooseberry ones and then leave the grown fruit unused.
