Harbor

Special buildings Main farm

I treat the harbor as a purely event building with no permanent upgrading - its value stands or falls on how carefully you keep the ship supplied with goods while the event is running.

The harbor is a special building on the main farm tied to the event around Captain James' cruise ship. It never made it into the shop - you'll find it as part of a limited-time event, not as a permanent purchase. In the harbor you load your finished goods onto the ship, which sets sail with the cargo and comes back after a while with a reward. It suits players who get stuck into in-game events and want to squeeze some extra bonus rewards out of them.

When to build it

You don't get the harbor by deciding step by step like with a shop building - it turns up as part of a particular cruise ship event, and once you have it there's every reason to use it straight away, because it's tied to a limited-time event rather than to the permanent development of your farm.

Is it worth upgrading

The harbor has no levels to upgrade like ordinary production buildings - it's a one-off event structure. What decides its value is how quickly and how often you load the ship with the goods it asks for - a fully loaded ship sets sail and brings back a reward, while an empty or half-full ship just sits there waiting for you. On top of that, the wait for it to come back can be skipped.

Tip from a veteran player I get the goods the ship wants in the harbor ready in advance - loading at the last minute has already cost me a missed voyage, because the ship sailed before I'd delivered everything it needed.
Most common mistake The most common mistake is leaving the ship in the harbor unloaded or only partly loaded because you're not following the event as it goes - the result is a departure with no reward.
