What it's for

Parsnip grows in gardens and can be made into rabbit feed in the water mill.

Parsnip is a basic farming good that you grow in the gardens of the Gourmet farm. In the game it's turned into rabbit feed in the Water mill, which makes it an important link in the feed chain. At the same time you can use it in the Nursery or the Farm laboratory to make special parsnip seeds, which then speed up growing parsnips themselves. The base shop price is 60 Dollars each.

How to get it

Buying it in the shop for 60 Dollars each is the most expensive option and only pays off when you need it right away. It's cheaper to plant it in the Garden, the Fertile garden or the Beach garden, where at building level 1 you harvest 40 units for Dollars in 2 hours, and the yield grows with every upgrade of the garden. Even better is the recipe with 1 unit of special parsnip seeds, which gives 100 units in 3 hours at level 1, and as the garden level rises this recipe scales much faster than the money one.

What to do with it

Take parsnips to the Water mill or the Efficient water mill and process them into rabbit feed, or turn them into special parsnip seeds in the Nursery or the Farm laboratory for further harvests.

Tip from a veteran player Once your garden is at a higher level, switch to the seed recipe, even at level 1 it gives 100 units against 40 units for Dollars, and the gap only widens with every further garden upgrade.

Most common mistake The most common mistake is sticking with the Dollar planting even after upgrading the garden and not noticing that the seed recipe scales far more with the building level.
