The candy cowshed is a nice reward from the event that delivers almost the same output as a classic cowshed on a smaller footprint, and it's worth upgrading all the way. You just have to be careful with it, because you lose it forever if you demolish it.

What it's for

This cowshed takes up less space than the normal one and gives your farm a touch of the county fair. If you demolish this building, you won't be able to build it again.

The candy cowshed is a special version of the cowshed from the village fair that produces milk, cream and manure on the Main farm from the same feeds as the classic cowshed, but fits into just a 5x5 space, less than a normal building of the same type. You can only get it during the event, it doesn't normally turn up in the shop. It suits anyone who wants to save space on the farm and still have a full-value source of milk and manure. It unlocks at player level 29.

When to build it

It makes sense to build it as soon as you get it during the event, because it saves space compared to a regular cowshed at comparable production. Higher levels unlock gradually all the way to player level 124, so you'll keep raising the building as your farm grows. One was enough for me, because it's a replacement for the classic cowshed, not a way to increase the total number of animal buildings.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading pays off and the yield grows a lot. From cow feed you get 276 milk in 7 hours at level one, while at max level it's 610 in the same time, so more than double. Manure production goes up similarly, from 117 to 182. The price climbs sharply though, and at level ten you upgrade the building with diamonds instead of dollars, so think that last step through properly.

Tip from a veteran player If you only have time for a quick visit to the farm, reach for cow silage, it's ready in 7 minutes, so you won't leave the building standing empty between longer batches.

Most common mistake The most common mistake is demolishing the candy cowshed to rearrange the farm in the belief that it can be built again, when in reality it's a one-off building from the event and you'd lose the spot for good.
