What it's for

Premium fertilizer can be used on an orchard to start production.

Premium fertilizer is an upgraded variant of Fertilizer that I make in the Farm laboratory from Rare catalyst and regular Fertilizer. Unlike basic Fertilizer its base price is given in Gold, 49 per unit, which shows it's a more valuable ingredient. The recipe only becomes available to me at a higher Farm laboratory level, from level 17, so I can't reach it earlier in the game. It can't be bought in the shop, only made.

How to get it

The recipe is the same at every level from 17 to 30, 25 Rare catalyst and 10 Fertilizer give 10 Premium fertilizer in just 4 minutes and 10 seconds. Because the yield doesn't vary with the laboratory level, the only thing that matters is having enough Rare catalyst and Fertilizer on hand, the production itself is easy to repeat thanks to the short time.

What to do with it

I use Premium fertilizer on the same orchards as regular Fertilizer, the Apple, Cherry, Almond and Peach orchards, of the cooperative versions on the Cooperative apple orchard and Cooperative cherry orchard, and it also works on the Festive almond orchard and Festive peach orchard.

Tip from a veteran player Because a batch is done in 4 minutes and 10 seconds, it pays to make Premium fertilizer in small batches according to what the orchards currently need instead of stockpiling it needlessly.

Most common mistake The most common mistake is wasting Rare catalyst on everyday situations where plain Fertilizer from the Silo would be more than enough.
