A necessary but cheap raw material - as long as you have an upgraded Silo and enough manure, the orchards never grind to a halt.

Island fertilizer is the basic raw material of the Island farm, and you make it in the Silo from manure. It is what kicks off production in the fruit orchards, so without it not a single orchard on the island gets going. It becomes available at level 30 and you can't buy it in the shop, it is purely something you produce yourself.

How to get it

The recipe in the Silo improves a lot as the building levels up - at level 1 you pay 220 manure for 10 pieces and wait 45 minutes, at level 4 it takes just 165 manure and you're done in 4 minutes. That's why it pays to upgrade the Silo as early as you can, since every extra level cuts both the manure cost and the production time. There is no other way to get it in the game than making it from manure, so keep a stock of manure from the enclosures ready in advance.

What to do with it

You use the fertilizer to start production in the Mango, Coconut and Banana orchards, where on top of the fruit (mangoes, coconuts, bananas) you also get tropical leaves. It is the starting point of the entire fruit chain on the island.
