What it's for

Grow in the coconut orchard. Can be processed in the beach bar.

You harvest coconuts from the coconut orchard on the Island farm, and just like mangoes they go on to the beach bar. You fertilize the orchard with island fertilizer and wait considerably longer than with mangoes, because one batch takes 6 hours. In the island economy coconuts are the second most used fruit after mangoes, because the bar needs them for two recipes. Fertilizing the orchard also produces tropical leaves for the compost.

How to get it

At level 1 the coconut orchard takes fifty units of island fertilizer or premium island fertilizer over 6 hours and yields 300 coconuts. Premium fertilizer adds 2000 XP on top for the same amount, so it always takes precedence over the regular kind. Special seaweed fertilizer gives coconuts right away and more of them, at level 1 that is 390 units and 4000 XP. A higher orchard level raises the yield, and at level 4 you get 750 units with regular fertilizer or 975 units with special fertilizer.

What to do with it

I send coconuts to the beach bar for the tropical star and the fruit cocktail, so keep them in stock together with mangoes whenever you want to run the bar at full capacity.

Tip from a veteran player Because of the six-hour cycle, the coconut orchard is best fertilized first thing in the morning or first thing in the evening, so the batch finishes at a time when you will actually be in the game.

Most common mistake It is a mistake to leave the orchard empty over a long break just because you do not need coconuts right away. Six hours of waiting can just as well be used to build up a stock in advance.
