What it's for

Starts production in goat stables and is made from dandelions in the water mill.

Goat feed is the basic feed you use to start production in the goat stable on the Gourmet farm. It is made from Dandelions in the Water mill or in the Efficient water mill. It is the first link in the goat feed chain, since the Farm laboratory turns it into Premium goat feed. Without it you can't get goat stables going at all, so it belongs among the goods that are worth keeping topped up.

How to get it

There's no cheaper way to buy it. It can only be made from Dandelions in the Water mill. At level 1 you need 38 pieces for 10 feed in 25 minutes, but as the mill level rises, both the Dandelion consumption and the production time drop, down to 3 minutes at level 9. So it pays to upgrade the mill, because you then produce the same recipe much faster.

What to do with it

You pour it into the Goat stable, Viking goat stable, Northern lights goat stable, Glorious goat stable and Efficient goat stable, where it starts the production of Milk and Manure. On top of that, the Farm laboratory also uses it up as an input for producing Premium goat feed.

Tip from a veteran player Upgrade the Water mill before you start mass-producing the feed. You save both time and Dandelions, because the recipe gets cheaper with each level.

Most common mistake It's common to produce the feed at a low mill level and needlessly wait dozens of minutes, even though a few levels higher you'd manage the same recipe in a couple of minutes.
