The northern lights goat stable is an animal building on the Gourmet farm where you turn special goat feed into milk, with manure for the silo as a by-product. It's a limited winter variant of the ordinary goat stable and, according to the description, it fits more goats, so you get more milk and manure out of one batch of feed. It fits a farm where you keep several kinds of animals at once and want to expand milk production without having to build another regular stable. It's a good pick for players who have the Gourmet farm unlocked and meet the player level needed for the first stage.

When to build it

The first stage costs 40,000 dollars and takes 3 hours 15 minutes to build, so the price doesn't stand out from the usual animal buildings at all. Level one needs player level 19, which most players with a running Gourmet farm passed long ago. Since it can't be built again once it's demolished, think the placement through in advance and don't treat it as a building you're just using to fill a gap on the farm.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading is definitely worth it, because between level one and the top level milk production from one batch of goat feed grows from 39 to 101 and manure from 28 to 70 for the same feed put in. The last, tenth level is paid for with diamonds though, so it comes down to whether the maximum capacity is worth premium currency to you, or whether you stay a few stages lower and make do with the dollar levels.

Tip from a veteran player When you need to gather experience quickly, put in the seaweed feed, which is processed instantly and credits 1200 XP right away, so use it mainly when you want to catch up on points for upgrading another building or moving up to the next player level.

Most common mistake The most common mistake is demolishing this building to reshuffle the farm on the assumption that it can go up somewhere else or be built again later, but the official description says clearly that once it's demolished you won't get it back.
