I see the Beach giant duck coop as the most productive source of eggs I have on the Gourmet farm, but given its size and price I would build it in a later stage of the game, not as my first animal building.

The Beach giant duck coop is the bigger sibling of the Beach duck coop and on the same Gourmet farm it takes up 16x12 tiles instead of 8x6. For the same 10 units of duck feed you get 480 eggs in 2 hours at level one, while the smaller coop gives 300 eggs in 8 hours from the same feed - so it is not just more productive, it is considerably faster too. Like the smaller version it cannot be bought in the Shop, and once demolished the game will not let you build it again. It is meant for players who are developing the Gourmet farm at full throttle and want to squeeze the maximum out of their ducks.

When to build it

The first level is available from player level 26 and costs 280,000 dollars, which is almost four times what the smaller coop asks, so expect to have to earn the money for it first. Because of the 16x12 footprint you also have to clear a seriously large area on the farm, which is why it is smart to plan for it ahead of time instead of squeezing it in at random among the smaller buildings.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading pays off just as clearly as with the smaller coop - the 480 eggs at level one grow to 1,074 eggs at the top level for the same 10 units of feed and the same 2 hours, and manure climbs from 174 to 273 units. The price for that is steep though, the last dollar level costs 145,000,000 dollars and level ten is already paid with 15,000 diamonds, so it is a goal for a well established farm you have been playing for a while.

Tip from a veteran player Seaweed feed works here too as an instant shot of eggs and XP with no waiting, so I would spend it in this coop rather than in the smaller one - the same amount of feed gets you more eggs in one go.

Most common mistake An early mistake is starting on the giant coop before you have a free 16x12 area on the farm and the money for the first levels - because of its size the construction then blocks you from putting up other buildings around it.
