The Beach duck coop is one of the strongest sources of eggs I have on the Gourmet farm, and I would definitely push it to higher levels - mainly because the game will not let you build it a second time.

The Beach duck coop is a Gourmet farm animal building that turns duck feed into eggs, with manure for the silo as a by-product. Its production is noticeably higher than that of ordinary duck coops, so it suits players who need a lot of eggs for follow up production or for orders. It cannot be bought in the Shop like a regular building, so if you own one or manage to get one, it is a special piece on your farm. Demolish it and, according to the in-game description, you will never be able to build it again, so be careful with the wrecking ball.

When to build it

Since the coop cannot be bought in the Shop, the question is not so much when to build it as what to do with it once you have it - the first level is available from player level 26 and costs 70,000 dollars, which is not a staggering sum for the Gourmet farm. It is a unique building, so there is no point thinking about owning several, only about how fast you can push it to a higher level.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading is clearly worth it here - with duck super feed you get 360 eggs from one batch at level one and 792 eggs at the top level for the same 10 units of feed and the same 8 hours, so more than double. The manure by-product grows in a similar way, from 109 to 173 units. The road to the top is long though, level ten requires player level 179 and is paid with 10,000 diamonds, so this is a long term goal rather than a quick upgrade.

Tip from a veteran player Seaweed feed is processed instantly and immediately adds a bonus 1,200 XP, so it is a great way to nudge your level along or clear out your stock of that feed without waiting the full 8 hours you would with regular feed.

Most common mistake The biggest mistake is demolishing this coop during a farm rebuild - this is a building the game says you can never put up again, so even if it is temporarily unused it is better to leave it standing than to tear it down.
