What it's for

Special seeds are grown in the nursery and have a growth rate and yield amount that is different from the normal seed.

Special flax seeds are a special resource that I produce on the Gourmet farm in the plant nursery, that is the Nursery, or alternatively in the Farm laboratory. Unlike regular seeds they have a different ratio of speed to yield, so it pays to use them where I need a big batch of flax at once. They cannot be bought in the shop, so I have to get them through production. They unlock right from level 1 and their main purpose is to feed mass flax production in the gardens.

How to get it

The best route is the Farm laboratory from level 6, where the recipe with five ordinary catalysts and one flax gives one piece in 50 seconds. Until I have the laboratory at that level, I produce the seeds in the Nursery from dozens of flax and other resources. The recipe there takes over two hours and shortens to 45 minutes as the building levels up. The Winter monument 2025 gives 3 pieces for free every 2 days, but that is a seasonal bonus you cannot rely on as a main source.

What to do with it

I use the seeds exclusively to produce a much bigger batch of flax at once in the garden, fertile garden, beach garden or the higher garden variants than what the regular money recipe yields.

Tip from a veteran player As soon as you get the Farm laboratory to level 6, move seed production there. The catalyst recipe is done in 50 seconds and you save yourself the two-hour wait in the Nursery.

Most common mistake Needlessly producing seeds in the Nursery even though you already have the laboratory at level 6 or higher. The recipe there is faster and cheaper in resources.
