What it's for

Special seeds are grown in the nursery and have a growth rate and yield amount that is different from the normal seed.

Special beetroot seeds are upgraded seeds you can't buy in the shop but make yourself in the Nursery or Farm laboratory on the Gourmet farm from level 1. In the game they replace regular beetroot planting for Dollars and give a higher yield, so their purpose is to speed up and cheapen the long-term supply of beetroot from your garden. On their own they are not a resource to sell, but an intermediate step in the production cycle.

How to get it

In the Nursery at level 1 you use up ten beetroots and two other resources, production takes 2 hours 30 minutes, at level 8 the beetroot cost drops to 3 and the time to 45 minutes. In the Farm laboratory from level 6 you make the seeds for Common catalyst x5 and beetroot x1 practically instantly, which is the fastest option if your laboratory is at a high enough level.

What to do with it

You plant the seeds back into the garden buildings, from the basic Garden through the Fertile and Beach garden up to the higher Glorious, Deluxe or Spectacular garden, where they give you noticeably more beetroot than regular planting.

Tip from a veteran player Make the seeds preferably in the Farm laboratory as soon as you have the level for it - it frees up the Nursery's capacity for other products.

Most common mistake It doesn't pay to make seeds in a rush right before you need beetroot immediately - production in the laboratory is short, but it needs catalysts, which are better to have ready in advance.
