What it's for

Made from sardines in the stone mill and starts production in penguin pools.

You produce Penguin feed in the Stone mill from sardines and use it to kick off husbandry in the Penguin pond. It is a material shared by the Viking farm, the Northern lights farm and the Festive farm, available from level 30.

How to get it

For one batch of feed you need 600 sardines, in exchange you get 10 feed - the output is always the same, only the production time changes, which shortens with the mill level from 30 to 15 minutes. You can't buy feed in the shop, so you have to catch enough sardines in advance.

What to do with it

You use feed in the Penguin pond, where it starts penguin husbandry, and as a by-product you also get manure for producing winter fertilizer.

Tip from a veteran player I prepare a larger stock of sardines in advance - 600 per batch of feed is a lot, and without a reserve my production in the mill easily gets stuck.

Most common mistake It's easy to underestimate how many sardines a batch of feed uses - you usually find out only when the mill has nothing to process.
