What it's for

You can load passion fruits onto the ship as soon as it docks in the harbor and the captain asks for them. You can't sell passion fruits.

Passion fruit is grown in the Greenhouse on the Main, Gourmet and Flower farms and, like the other greenhouse fruit, it can't be sold - only Captain Barnacle in the harbor is waiting for it. With a base price of 7200 Dollars it's among the pricier greenhouse crops. The recipe is available from level 30 and once again comes in three seed tiers. At the top tier the seed name switches to maracuja, even though it's still the same crop.

How to get it

Passion fruit seeds give 48 pieces in 25 minutes, Special passion fruit seeds 1088 pieces in 38 minutes and Premium maracuja seeds 5397 pieces in 5 hours. The gap between basic and special seeds is huge here - for less than 15 extra minutes you get more than twenty times the passion fruit.

What to do with it

Passion fruit is only processed further in the Farm laboratory into Special passion fruit seeds, it doesn't go into the Jam factory.

Tip from a veteran player When I only have time for the greenhouse now and then, I go straight for Premium maracuja seeds - even with the five-hour timer, a single batch gives more passion fruit than I could make with three cycles of basic seeds.

Most common mistake It's a mistake to overlook that Premium maracuja seeds and Passion fruit seeds are just different tiers of seeds for the same crop, and miss out on the most productive variant simply because of a different name in the recipe.
