What it's for

You can use these special seeds in the greenhouse to breed sweet fruits, which you can load onto Captain Barnacle's ship when he docks in the harbor and asks for them.

Special passion fruit seeds are the improved variant of passion fruit seeds, and you start producing them in the Farm laboratory from building level 12, while the seeds themselves are available from game level 30 on the Main farm, the Gourmet farm and the Flower farm. The recipe is more demanding than for figs, it needs 42 Common catalyst per passion fruit and production takes 7 minutes. The price of 6250 Gold puts these seeds among the pricier items in the overview. Once planted in the Greenhouse they again grow into Passion fruit.

How to get it

The only route to these seeds runs through the Farm laboratory from level 12 upwards, where you produce them from 42 Common catalyst and one passion fruit in 7 minutes, and the recipe then stays the same up to laboratory level 25. You can't buy them in the shop, so it pays to have the laboratory at the required level before you run out of passion fruit from the Greenhouse, which the recipe needs as an input.

What to do with it

You plant them in the Greenhouse, where Passion fruit grows. You can put that back into the next run of the recipe in the Farm laboratory, or hand it over to Captain Barnacle if he happens to be asking for passion fruit.

Tip from a veteran player Check whether your Farm laboratory is at least level 12, because without that you can't start the recipe for these seeds at all.
