What it's for

Obsidian leaves are a by-product of orchards on the obsidian farm.

Obsidian leaves are a by-product you get on top of the main harvest when you run orchards on the Obsidian farm. They come from the plum orchard and the dragon fruit orchard, so you get them as long as you keep those buildings running. They are processed further in the botanical workshop into obsidian feed.

How to get it

You cannot buy leaves in the shop, they come out of your orchards as a by-product. In the plum orchard you have them made for 500 obsidian dollars and after 4 hours you get 16 of them, in the dragon fruit orchard the same price gets you 12 after 3 hours. Both buildings also offer a version for 40 Gold with the same yield and the same time, so it is purely about whether you would rather pay in obsidian dollars or Gold. The recipe is the same at every level of both orchards, so upgrading the building does not change the yield.

What to do with it

You process the leaves further in the botanical workshop into obsidian feed, or its upgraded XL and XXL versions.

Tip from a veteran player I have my leaves made for obsidian dollars, I would rather save Gold for things where time really matters to me.

Most common mistake The most common mistake is paying for leaves with Gold even though the obsidian dollar version gives you the same amount in the same time, just in ordinary farm currency.
