What it's for

You can use these seeds in the greenhouse to breed Nordic fruits, which you can load onto Captain Barnacle's ship when he docks in the harbor and asks for them.

Cloudberry seeds are the most expensive of the four basic Nordic seeds for the Greenhouse and, like the others, you unlock them from level 30 on the Main, Gourmet and Flower farms. Once planted they grow into Cloudberries, the last of the fruits that go to Captain Barnacle's ship in the harbor. Their base price of 550 Gold is ten times higher than that of gooseberry seeds, which shows just how rare a resource they are. On top of that, from finished cloudberries you can have Special cloudberry seeds made in the Farm laboratory from its level 10, it takes 103 Common catalysts and one batch of Cloudberries.

How to get it

You can't buy them in the shop and I have no production recipe available, so you rely purely on what you already own. The listed price of 550 Gold is only their base value, not a purchase price.

What to do with it

You plant them in the Greenhouse, wait for the Cloudberries and load those onto Captain Barnacle's ship once it docks in the harbor and asks for them. Cloudberries can't be sold, so if there is no demand at the moment, keep them for Special cloudberry seeds.

Tip from a veteran player Since these are the most expensive of the four Nordic seeds, keep them strictly for the moment when you really need cloudberries, whether for the ship or for special seeds from the Farm laboratory.
Most common mistake The most common mistake is to underestimate the high price of these seeds and handle them as casually as the cheap gooseberry seeds.
