What it's for

Every so often the scent of freshly washed clothes wafts over the farm. What a welcome change from the distinctive aroma of the stables...

The Clothesline is a simple decoration from the shop, available from level 13 for 25,000 dollars. On a 7x3 tile footprint it adds 19 happiness, which is only 0.9 points per tile - the weakest ratio of the whole ten I cover here. You won't find any source for it in the game other than the shop.

What to do with it

You can build it on the Main farm, the Gourmet farm, the Flower farm or in Decoration Valley, mainly to fill a long narrow strip of land. Where you care mostly about getting maximum happiness from a few tiles, I wouldn't pick it.

Tip from a veteran player You'll get the most out of it along the edges of your land, where wider decorations don't fit.
