What it's for
Who's going to find the needle in the haystack?
The hay bales are a simple farm decoration with a nod to looking for a needle in a haystack. They give 14 happiness points on a 4x4 plot, that is 0.9 happiness per tile, which is the lowest value in this selection. You can buy them for 5,500 dollars in the shop or in the cooperative league shop, and they unlock as early as level 6.
What to do with it
The low price and low unlock level make them a good first decoration for new players who can't afford the expensive pieces yet. You can build them on the Main farm as well as the other three farms.
Tip from a veteran player Treat them as a cheap way into happiness at the start of the game, but once you have more money, replace them with a more efficient piece.
