Pig slop is a by-product made on the Main farm by grinding turnips in the windmill. It serves as feed for raising pigs in the pigsty and its themed variants, where it is turned into manure and pigs. In the pigsty, though, it is only one of the ways to feed your pigs, alongside recipes for pig feed, premium feed, super feed, seaweed feed and obsidian feed, so the pigsty won't grind to a halt without slop. It isn't sold in the shop, it's purely something you make yourself from turnips.
How to get it
Slop can't be bought, the only way is to make it from turnips in the windmill or the efficient windmill. At windmill level 1 you need 48 turnips for 10 units and production takes 135 seconds, from level 2 the cost drops to 29 turnips and the time to 50 seconds, and with further windmill levels the cost keeps falling all the way to 11 turnips per 10 units at level 10, where one batch takes 22 seconds. It's worth upgrading the windmill as early as possible, because the same output then costs far fewer turnips.
What to do with it
Slop goes straight into the pigsty or its variants (tropical, spring, rural, autumnal, efficient pigsty), where it's turned into manure and pigs for further processing.
