The Spring duck coop is a seasonal livestock building for the Gourmet farm that the game describes as more productive than the regular duck coop. On an 8x6 plot it processes duck feed into eggs and manure for the silo, so it fits into the same spot in the economic cycle as classic poultry farming. It's accessible from player level 26, so you'll come across it on the Gourmet farm fairly early in its development. It suits anyone who wants to raise egg production on the Gourmet farm beyond the regular duck coop.

When to build it

As soon as you unlock the coop at player level 26, it pays to build it straight away - the entry price of 70,000 dollars is a good investment for 300 eggs per batch. It's a unique building, so one will be enough alongside your other livestock on the Gourmet farm.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading makes sense to do gradually as the farm grows - prices climb from 70,000 dollars up to 11 million at level nine, and level ten already costs 10,000 diamonds, available only around player level 179. The reward is a substantial jump in yield, egg production from basic duck feed rises from 300 to 670 units for the same 8 hours, so more than double, and manure production grows too, from 109 to 173 units.

Tip from a veteran player Seaweed feed gets processed instantly and gives me more eggs than basic feed, so I put it in the coop first whenever I have it available.

Most common mistake On the Gourmet farm it happens that a player demolishes the Spring duck coop while planning new construction without checking the warning in its description - and then loses the increased egg production with no way back.
