What it's for

The beach chicken coop produces more eggs than the normal one. As a by-product, you will receive dung for the silo. If you demolish this building, you can't build it again.

The Beach chicken coop is an upgraded version of the ordinary Chicken coop on the Main farm, pulling more eggs out of the same feed. Besides eggs it also produces manure for the silo and feathers as by-products. It takes up 5x5 and you can build level one practically from the start of the game, because it has no player level requirement. It's a building for anyone who wants more eggs out of the Main farm without having to find room for another regular Chicken coop.

When to build it

Since the game lets you build it from player level 0 and it needs no prior investment, feel free to put it up as soon as you have a free 5x5 spot and 15000 Gold for the first level. Like the Spring pigsty, this is a building you can't buy again if you demolish it, so I take it as a one-off addition to the farm, not a building type to duplicate.

Is it worth upgrading

Upgrading is a clear win here, the chicken feed recipe gives 31 eggs at level one but 62 eggs at level ten for the same 10 units of feed and the same 13 minutes, so the yield practically doubles with no extra production time. Manure output grows from 10 to 24 units as well. The price climbs from 15000 to 80000 Gold and the number of workers needed from 5 to 18, keep that in mind when planning houses.

Tip from a veteran player The Seaweed feed recipe runs with no waiting and adds 1200 XP extra at level one, so use it whenever you want to grab quick experience between longer production cycles.

Most common mistake An early mistake is leaving the coop at a low level with few workers and then finding out that at a higher level you're short of up to 18 free workers to staff it, so add houses before you start upgrading.
