What it's for
You can use these special seeds in the greenhouse to breed sweet fruits, which you can load onto Captain Barnacle's ship when he docks in the harbor and asks for them.
Premium elderberry seeds open up the second group of premium seeds in the Greenhouse, this time for sweet fruit, and they unlock only at level 35, five levels later than the Nordic trio. Like the rest, they're planted in the Greenhouse on the Main farm, Gourmet farm or Flower farm and grow into elderberries. At 1250 Gold they're among the cheapest premium seeds, exactly the same price as gooseberry seeds. Like the other premium seeds they aren't for production or selling, but for one specific order in the Harbor.
How to get it
You can't buy elderberry seeds in the Shop and there's no recipe for them in the game, so you won't get them by combining other goods. They come as a reward from events and quests into temporary storage, and from there you move them straight to the Greenhouse. Thanks to a low price that few premium seeds can match, you don't have to be afraid to use them the moment you get them.
What to do with it
The seed grows into elderberries, which you load onto Captain Barnacle's ship as soon as it docks in the Harbor and he asks for elderberries. They aren't for selling or further production, as their only destination is the deck of the captain's ship.
