What it's for

You can use these special seeds in the greenhouse to breed sweet fruits, which you can load onto Captain Barnacle's ship when he docks in the harbor and asks for them.

Premium apricot seeds are the most expensive in the sweet fruit group at 15500 gold, the same as cloudberries from the Nordic trio, and they unlock at level 35. You plant them in the greenhouse on the Main farm, Gourmet farm or Flower farm and they grow into apricots. They're the rarest seed in the whole sweet group and, like the other premium seeds, their only purpose is to fill one specific request in the harbor.

How to get it

Apricot seeds aren't sold in the shop and no recipe for them exists in the game, so no combination of goods will get you any. They arrive in your temporary storage as a reward from events and quests, and from there you move them straight into the greenhouse. Since they're the priciest of the sweet group, it's a waste to plant them without being sure you really need apricots.

What to do with it

The apricots you grow belong to Captain Barnacle - you load them onto his ship when it docks in the harbor and happens to ask for apricots. Just like cloudberries, they're never sold anywhere and never processed any further - both goods exist purely for this one request.

Tip from a veteran player Apricots cost the same as cloudberries, the most of all seven seeds, so it pays to always be clear about which fruit the captain is after before a seed goes into the first planting that comes to mind.
