Pineapple seeds

Processed product Main farm Gourmet farm Flower farm

Pineapple seeds are more expensive than lime or grapefruit seeds, which matches the higher value of pineapples themselves, but as your main production recipe they are not really worth it.

What it's for

You can use these seeds in the greenhouse to breed exotic fruits, which you can then load onto Captain Barnacle's ship when he docks in the harbor and asks for them.

Pineapple seeds are the input seeds for the Greenhouse, from which you grow Pineapples for ship trading as well as for jam production. In the game they are available from level 30 on the Main farm, Gourmet farm and Flower farm, with a base value of 275 Gold, considerably more than lime or grapefruit seeds. Like the other exotic seeds they are not bought in the shop and the game lists no production recipe for them.

How to get it

With no production recipe and no way to buy them in the shop, the only way to use pineapple seeds is to plant them in the greenhouse. The higher base value of 275 Gold matches the fact that pineapples themselves are pricier than grapefruits or limes, so they are the more expensive link in the sequence of exotic seeds.

What to do with it

You use pineapple seeds exclusively for planting in the Greenhouse, where they turn into Pineapples.

Tip from a veteran player I save pineapple seeds for moments when I need to top up a small amount of pineapples quickly, the recipe with them takes only 25 minutes, even though it gives few pieces.
Most common mistake An early mistake is relying only on pineapple seeds as your main source of harvest, compared to special seeds their yield per hour is noticeably lower.
