Olive oil is made by processing olives in the distillery and is one of the most heavily used intermediate products in the game - you'll find it in recipes across the shop, the textile factory, the seaside stands and the dairy. It's produced on both the Main farm and the Flower farm, which shows how intertwined it is with the rest of production. Given its wide use, it's good to always have it in stock.

How to get it

The recipe in the distillery uses a full 160 olives for a batch of 80 pieces, and the time drops from 2 hours at level 1 down to 15 minutes at level 10 - so it's mainly a matter of upgrading the distillery. Given the high consumption of 160 olives per batch it pays to have enough ingredients in advance, otherwise oil production swallows almost your whole stock at once. Buying in the shop for 530 Dollars a piece comes into play when you're missing a few pieces to finish another production run and don't have olives at the moment.

Tip from a veteran player Before you start the recipe, count your olive stock - 160 pieces per batch is a lot, so it easily happens that you run out in the middle of another production run.
