Obsidian alfalfa seeds XL sit in the middle between the basic and the XXL version of the alfalfa seeds, they have no description of their own in the game, but they work just like the other variants in this line. They're made in the Winter garden on the main farm and you use them on its fields. The recipe is exactly double the basic version, so it's a stronger intermediate product for sowing alfalfa.

How to get it

One unit takes 20 units of the obsidian farm resource, 2 units of special alfalfa seeds and 108 obsidian manure, production runs for 2 hours just like the other versions and the recipe is identical at every level of the Winter garden. It can't be bought, so count on your own production only, and it pays off mainly when the basic version isn't enough for you and the XXL is needlessly expensive.

What to do with it

Use it on a field, a fertile field or other field types on the main farm to sow alfalfa.

Tip from a veteran player Before you reach for the XL version, check whether the basic seeds would do the job, double the resources for the very same single unit only makes sense when you have a specific need.
