What it's for

These powerful seeds are made on the obsidian farm and can be used on fields on your main farm

Obsidian alfalfa seeds are the entry level of the upgraded alfalfa seeds, in other words the weaker variant compared to the XL and XXL versions in the same line. They're made in the Winter garden on the main farm from manure, special alfalfa seeds and one more resource. You use them on the fields of the main farm, where they grow into alfalfa. It's an intermediate product that mainly makes sense if you grow alfalfa regularly.

How to get it

One unit takes 10 units of the obsidian farm resource, 1 unit of special alfalfa seeds and 54 obsidian manure, production runs for 2 hours and the recipe is the same at every level of the Winter garden. You can't buy it in the shop, so you have to produce it, but luckily it's the cheapest variant in the whole alfalfa seed line, which makes it great for topping up your stock day to day.

What to do with it

Sow it on a field, a fertile field or other field types on the main farm, where it grows into alfalfa.

Tip from a veteran player When you don't need an extreme effect on the field, stick with this basic version, you'll save manure and special seeds that come in handy elsewhere.

Most common mistake Plenty of players reach for the XL or XXL version even where the basic variant would do, and burn three times the resources for the very same single finished unit.
