What it's for

Grass grows on fields and can be turned into hay in the mill.

Grass is a basic resource you grow on fields on the main farm, specifically on the field, the fertile field and the wintry fertile field. It is used further in the windmill to make hay and in the nursery or the farm laboratory to make special grass seeds. It is one of the first resources you work with on the farm and it stands at the start of the chain that leads to cream and pastries.

How to get it

The cheapest way to get grass is to grow it on a field for 130 Dollars, which gives you 43 units or more depending on the field level in 2 hours 30 minutes, far cheaper than buying it in the shop for 50 Dollars apiece. If you need grass fast, use the recipe with special grass seeds, where one unit of seeds and 25 minutes gives you 22 units or more depending on the field level.

What to do with it

Send grass mainly to the windmill to make hay, or to the nursery or the farm laboratory to make special grass seeds, which you can then use to speed up further harvests.
